Naperville, Illinois, USA – December 15, 2004 – Allant, a Marketing Optimization solution provider, has announced today its newest member to the business development team, Scott Burns. As Vice President of Business Development, Scott will be responsible for aligning Allant's Retail Performance solutions to the business needs of leading retail organizations.

Scott most recently led new business development activities within the retail sector for Acxiom Corporation. Scott excels in providing marketing database and data management solutions to Fortune 100 retailers and specialty retailers. Allant recently launched its Prevalence® Retail Performance Optimization solutions in July, 2004. Through these solutions, Allant provides retailers with customer intelligence applications and analytic driven marketing, merchandising and enterprise growth solutions designed to have a substantial financial impact on their business. Scott is in a unique position to address retail client business challenges and objectives with relevant and meaningful Retail Performance solutions from Allant.

With over 18 years of industry experience, Scott has extensive knowledge in the areas of database design and development, modeling and analytics, consumer data and data quality, Customer Relationship Management and direct marketing services. Scott also spent time with Metromail (currently Experian), Pitney Bowes and Uarco in senior sales and business management positions.
